Celebrating 251 Years of Honor, Courage & Commitment

The SgtMaj Michael S. Curtin Detachment 1124, Marine Corps League proudly invites Marines, FMF Navy veterans, families, friends, and members of our community to join us as we celebrate the 251st Birthday of the United States Marine Corps.

For generations, Marines have gathered each November to honor our history, remember those who came before us, and celebrate the brotherhood and traditions that continue to unite Marines long after the uniform comes off.

On November 6, we continue that tradition together.

4:00 PM — Happy Hour

Arrive early, grab a drink, reconnect with old friends, and meet fellow Marines and members of our community.

5:30 PM — Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony

Join us as we honor the traditions and history of our Corps and celebrate its 251st Birthday.

6:30 PM — Dinner

7:00–9:00 PM — Dancing & Celebration

The SgtMaj Michael S. Curtin Detachment 1124 is more than a veterans organization.

Our members continue the Marine Corps tradition of service by supporting Marines and veterans, participating in patriotic and community events, preserving Marine Corps traditions, and serving the greater Zephyrhills and Pasco County community.

The Marine Corps Ball is an opportunity to celebrate that mission while bringing together those who served and the community that continues to stand behind them.
